Mr Sachin Malde is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, HCA London Bridge, The London Clinic, and Cleveland Clinic, London, UK. He is a sub-specialist in the investigation and treatment of male and female urinary symptoms and incontinence. He offers the latest minimally-invasive surgeries for benign prostatic enlargement, including being an early user of Aquablation therapy in the UK. Mr Malde has a strong belief in offering patients personalised treatments based on their individual values and preferences, and provides expert diagnostics to enable optimal treatment decisions to be made. He spent the majority of his training at specialist centres gaining further experience in the range of treatments for both male and female urinary symptoms, benign prostate enlargement, reconstructive urological surgery, video urodynamic assessment for complex male urinary symptoms, and robotic reconstructive urology. His research into the urodynamic assessment of men with post-prostatectomy incontinence led to an MSc in Urology for which he was awarded the Geoffrey Chisholm Gold Medal. He has published extensively in this sub-specialty area, including several book chapters and over 90 Pubmed-indexed peer-reviewed publications. He is a Guidelines Panel Member for the European Association of Urology guidelines on male lower urinary tract symptoms, and serves on the editorial board of the journal Prostate Cancer and Prostatic Diseases.
