Mr. Matthew Jefferies

Mr Matthew Jefferies is a consultant urological and robotic surgeon based at Nuffield Health The Vale Hospital in Wales. He specialises in a broad range of urological conditions, with expertise in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), prostate cancer screening and treatment, and kidney cancer. Mr Jefferies also offers advanced treatments using laparoscopy and robotic surgery. His extensive experience covers both male and female urological conditions, allowing him to provide comprehensive care tailored to individual needs. He graduated in 2006 from the University of Wales College of Medicine and completed his urological training in South Wales. Alongside his clinical work, Mr Jefferies has a strong background in research. He earned a PhD in prostate cancer genetics from Cardiff University in 2012, enhancing his ability to offer the latest evidence-based care.
