Dr. James Stocks

James Stocks, MD, is a board-certified urologist. He serves patients at Urology Specialists of Cypress in Cypress, Texas. Dr. Stocks, who has recently moved from the Texas Medical Center, brings his enthusiasm and expertise to the Urology Specialists of Cypress team. Patients appreciate his respectful demeanor and gentle bedside manner. Dr. Stocks grew up in Tyler, Texas, along with his six siblings. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas. He then traveled to West Texas to attend medical school at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. He completed his internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine in the Medical Center in Houston, Texas, where he served as chief resident from 2016-2017. Dr. Stocks' interests in the urology field are numerous, and he is skilled in a broad array of surgical techniques, including laparoscopic, microscopic, endoscopic, and robotic surgery. Dr. Stocks has made his home in Cypress with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. He looks forward to providing urology care to patients in Cypress, Texas, and the surrounding areas in a professional and caring manner.
