Dr. George Yardy

George Yardy is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital. He attended medical school in London and graduated in 1997. He undertook research into prostate cancer at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, for which he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD). He received training in the East of England urology programme, including two years at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, and Norfolk & Norwich Hospital. He has an established practice treating urinary symptoms due to prostatic enlargement. As well as Aquablation, he offers Urolift (since 2016), Rezum (since 2019), bipolar TURP and HoLEP. Other interests include medical education (Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of East Anglia), research (Principal Investigator in “ACCTUATE” study of new catheter technology).
