Dr. David Hernandez

Joining USF in 2009 as an Assistant Professor, he was promoted to Associate Professor in 2016. A native of Tampa, he studied Molecular Biology at Vanderbilt University and completed Medical School and Urology Residency at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Hernandez's areas of concentration include endourology (kidney stones and benign prostatic hypertrophy) and minimally invasive surgical treatment modalities. His interests include clinical outcomes research and resident education.
