Mr. Gurminder Mann

Gurminder Mann was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon to Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust in 2004. Gurminder established laparoscopic surgery in Urology at Nottingham and has a sub specialist interest in Urological cancers particularly kidney, testis and sarcoma cancer. He works as part of the Nottingham Urology Group where each Consultant has a specific sub-specialist interest which allows the right urologist to treat your condition where needed, rather than a general urologist. This co-operative approach ensures all patients get the best treatment for their urological condition. Gurminder has developed a particular interest in the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms in men and uses a tailored approach for each man. It is always important to understand a patient's needs when it comes to choosing treatment options for symptoms especially when not comes to the side effect profiles of various treatment choices. A range of choices is available including Aquablation, Urolift and Trans-Urethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP). The assessment of sexual function is important and will be discussed openly and sensitively.
