Dr. Remy Lamberts

Dr. Remy Lamberts
Dr. Remy W. Lamberts was raised here in Northern Nevada where he attended Reno High School playing varsity soccer, mountain biking, skiing, and windsurfing. His parents, Dr. Eric Lamberts and Dr. Karen McDermott, are both primary care physicians in the area and instilled the importance of kindness, compassion, and integrity in medicine. After obtaining his Bachelors of Science, majoring in physics with a minor in mathematics, he spent a year and a half in France in one of the premier diabetes labs doing research on islet cell transplantation. Moving back to Reno, he attended University of Nevada School of Medicine where he was awarded “best student in surgery” in his class and was additionally elected to the Alpha-Omega-Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then completed his six year residency in Urology at Stanford Hospitals & Clinics where he participated in research on health policy, MRI fusion biopsy, kidney stone disease winning the WSAUA health policy essay contest and publishing six peer reviewed journal articles. His training covered the breadth of general urology but had emphasis on cutting edge ureteroscopic technology, Da Vinci robotic procedures for kidney and prostate cancer, bladder cancer, and minimally invasive therapies for enlarged prostates. He is excited to be back in Reno with his family, serving his community, and enjoying the recreational and outdoor opportunities in the area! He is most recently engaged to Lyndsay Budak and they look forward to raising a family here together in this blossoming city and community.
