Dr. Michael Pinsky

Dr. Pinsky graduated cum laude from Tulane University earned his medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed his urology residency at Tulane with a focus on endourology, minimally invasive urology, and robotic surgery. He is board certified in urology by the American Board of Urology, and a member of the American Urologic Association. Dr. Pinsky believes in a holistic approach to patient care, making sure that his patients always feel comfortable, respected, and that their input is valued. He believes it is important to treat the urologic condition in the context of any other medical problems and lifestyle considerations. He prides himself on open communication and taking the time necessary for his patients to fully understand their diagnoses and treatment options. Dr. Pinsky’s special interests include robotic surgery and minimally invasive management strategies for BPH and kidney stones. He is pleased to offer Aquablation as an option to patients looking for definitive relief of their prostate obstruction and avoiding bothersome side effects of treatment
