Dr. Ken-ryu Han
Dr. Han is fellowship-trained in urologic cancers with a focus on prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers. In addition to urologic cancer, his areas of specialty include kidney stone disease and prostate conditions. Dr. Han’s work has been extensively published including over 40 scientific papers and over 10 national research presentations. His paper on Cryosurgery for the treatment of organ-confined prostate cancer with third-generation cryosurgery, preliminary multi-center experience, was the first paper in the world on the use of the technology in humans. Before joining Arizona Urology Specialists in 2009, Dr. Han was in practice at Canyon State Urology. Dr. Han grew up in Southern California. His interests include spending time with his wife and four children, running, and rooting for the Las Vegas Raiders.
